Temporary Warehouses Planning

Bees Structures project team will develop a timeline for the erection process, and produce CAD drawings to facilitate the planning process. Both internals and externals can be produced with structural calculations produced where necessary. We would assist with the planning and preparation of the required area and infrastructure, and the size of the frame and footprint of the necessary construction. On completion of the preparation the construction can commence.

The planning process will need to be adhered to, and we would endeavour to make the process as painless as possible. As a guide a planning application would need to be made for any structure that is in use for more than 28 days a year. A brief call to the planning office to establish the local position is always preferable to a confrontation later in the process.

All our structures are constructed to conform to British Standards, wind and snow loadings and are specifically built to withstand inclement weather conditions.

The operator will install the installation either as a fixed development, or as a portable development that is on a vehicle or trailer, in as far as these installations are concerned there is no difference in themethod or lawfulness of the development if it is fixed to the ground/building or is mobile. It is known that once the development is in place the LPA will more than likely eventually grant full permission. Having said that, it is lawful to undertake most forms of temporary developments and/or temporarychanges of use for a period not exceeding 28 days in any 12 calender month period, withoutpermission, this provision is mainly used for developments such as markets and carnivals, thus stationing a temporary structure or a moveable structure for 28 days would not be unlawful.
